Black Narcissus

Universal Dancer

And she danced, oh how she danced,
sparking cosmic rainbows from golden slippers,
as she skipped carefree on the mountains of the moon,

and a thousand winged Jupiter butterfly
soared through irridescent clouds of eternity
casting spell dust in her eyes.

Comet trails sparkled along violin strings,
that swayed to Saturn's rings.
Her eyes bloomed Venus flowers through purple irises,
and in her hand
a rose bush milky way shed petals to the sun.

I held her hand
as we became the ocean,
crashing on rocks of Neptunes deepest blue.

Faster and faster we swirled between unknown universes,
breathless abandon,
cloaked us between sleeping galaxies and songbird dreams.

and still we danced,
swirled to oblivion of darkness.
As time itself waited our approach.
seconds birthed angel wings that became tomorrow,

yet slowly
as the silent steps of dew on a spring morning
we spiralled down to earth.

And in that moment
we became one with mother nature,
and rested, drinking honey bee nectar and counting newly born wishes.
